Lavender Love <3
Oh how I loved spending time with this family. I first met Charlotte just under a year ago for her son, Ezra's, First Birthday cake smash, these are still some of my favourite images I've ever taken. When Charlotte booked us in for the Lavender fields I just knew I would fall in love with her family all over again.
Charlotte and I have a unique connection in that her son was born just 2 weeks apart from my daughter and she was also due her baby 2 weeks apart from mine this year. I gave birth to my son on the 5th August and Charlotte gave birth to her beautiful daughter this morning, giving it a 2 week gap between them also. Charlotte and I have developed a friendship through my photography and I cannot wait to watch our relationship grow and grow.
Anyway, I'm babbling. When Charlotte and her Partner Joe turned up to the Lavender along with Ezra, they looked absolutely amazing! A lot of our clients expect us to just take the best photos and its done with, but we always say to our clients that it takes both sides to create the most perfect image. It's important you feel comfortable but also that you compliment the surroundings and yourself, we often send over a mood board of the style and colours we advise for that particular photo shoot. This helps to create that timeless image that you can treasure forever.
As soon as we started shooting I was instantly excited, they smashed it, every time I looked behind the lens i was screaming inside with excitement! Ezra looked as handsome as ever and all of them together just bounced off each other. You could see it in their eyes the enjoyment they had within the lavender. This shows in the final images and after I showed Charlotte in person she was overwhelmed, although it was difficult she certainly picked some of the most beautiful images. I have posted a few for you all to see. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
